Vueling

Software Developer

El Prat de Llobregat

I worked on application maintenance and continuous improvement, combining backend development with tools for everyday production work. I collaborated with Architecture to define processes, systems and shared libraries that other teams could use.

Alongside solving specific needs, I helped build pieces that could be reused across more applications.

Desigual

Software Developer

Barcelona

I was part of the .NET and Architecture teams, integrating point-of-sale systems with the rest of the company’s technology. I developed services and APIs and worked with QA to automate processes.

A mix of development and integration, connecting what happened in stores with the technology behind it.

Self-employed

Software Engineer, DevOps & ArchitectFreelance

Barcelona

I worked with different clients to turn their needs into software: from APIs and .NET backends to applications built with React, Next.js, React Native and WPF. I designed architectures, set up Azure DevOps pipelines and helped modernize applications and migrate systems to Azure.

I also coordinated teams and mentored other developers. Depending on the project, I would put on my architect hat, write code or sit down with the client to work out what they needed.

Ryanair

Backend Software Developer

Madrid

I worked on the main booking system’s API and its integration with internal and third-party services. My focus was the backend, connecting the pieces involved in making a reservation.

I also took part in code reviews and unit and integration testing: an important part of the job when working on such a central system.

I designed and built an MMO backend from scratch: the multiplayer server, distributed chat and APIs. I put together a microservices architecture on AWS with .NET Core, WebSockets, Docker and Kubernetes.

The challenge was on the other side of the screen: connecting players and getting the game’s different services to work together.

Payvision

Full Stack Software Developer

Madrid

I was part of the team behind Payvision’s official reporting tool. I worked on the ETL processes that extracted and integrated data, and on the web application that turned it into reports for the business.

I moved between the .NET backend, Angular frontend and distributed systems: from preparing the data to making it available to the people who needed it.

Docplanner

Full Stack Software Developer

Barcelona

I helped build and evolve a SaaS product for medical professionals, across its desktop and mobile versions. I worked with .NET on the backend, React Native on the mobile app and Azure services for data and deployments.

This was a chance to work across different parts of the product, connecting what happened on screen with everything behind it.

Volkswagen Group

Architect & Full Stack DevOps

Barcelona

I helped teams build and deploy backend, frontend and mobile applications, setting up their continuous integration processes from scratch. I reviewed existing systems and defined improvements, technical roadmaps and architectures to move legacy and on-premise applications into the cloud.

I also got hands-on with the platform: API management with WSO2 on AKS, authentication with Red Hat SSO and observability with ELK and Dynatrace. Plenty of architecture, with plenty of time spent down in the pipelines too.

I developed and maintained the backend powering a game built in Unity, working with .NET, AWS and messaging services. I also built a level management tool from scratch in Angular and developed internal utilities with Node.js and TypeScript.

My part was behind the scenes: the services and tools the game needed to run.

03 / SIDE QUESTS

Life isn't all work.

UNDER CONSTRUCTION

There's life beyond the main quest: odd ideas, paths to explore and the occasional “what if?”. With AI along for the adventure, ideas stuck on the “someday” list are finding that little power-up they need to leave the notebook and make it into the real world.

A handful of tokens, new ideas unlocked and the same old bugs, now with Quick Attack. A project or two will end up at the bottom of the bag, between a potion and an “I'll finish it later”. But with AI on the team, “what if…?” keeps turning into “hey, it works”. Even with that stack you've only trained to level 5.

A wild Snorlax is blocking the way. The side projects will have to wait a little longer…

04 / SAVE POINTS

The early levels.

We all have our own Pallet Town

  1. 2000

    Barcelona

    Pentium 4 · Encarta · curiosity

My first Pentium 4 arrived, along with Encarta and a printer louder than a nuclear reactor. I had a computer, a whole world to discover and a strong urge to press every button. This is where it all began. Learning to switch it off at a reasonable hour could wait.

  2. 2007 — 2009

    STUCOM

    Programming studies

This is where I really discovered programming. Letters, numbers and a few symbols turned into… things that actually worked?! It felt pretty close to magic. Until the first missing semicolon, of course. That was when I got hooked.

  3. 2009 — 2010

    IES Joan Oró

    Marketing & ICT

This planted the seed that would later take me beyond the IDE: understanding the business, the people and what we build things for. Along the way, I picked up the wallhack that got me into university. All perfectly legal, for the record.

  4. Started in 2011

    UOC

    Computer Engineering

This is where I strengthened my foundations and started making sense of everything I’d learned along the way. And since I like following in my heroes’ footsteps… between you and me, . Let’s say the save file is still there. Luckily, curiosity doesn’t need course credits.
